P’aqo

P’aqo is a shaman in a tribe of green-necked thorncrawlers in the Andean mountains. After a long life, the otherwise characteristically elongated necks of this species droops down and they craft their own staff for support. P’aqo, now the oldest shaman of his tribe, possesses knowledge of all the medicinal plants and fungi in their territory. He aids his folk in vision-quests, knows how to cure most ailments and is the favorite grandfather of all the younglings.
